Pornography, spicing things up or burning them down?

So I want to take this blog to a more personal and practical level. There are a whole lot of things we may find confusing a Christians. Simple everyday stuff that may make or mar our walk with God. I saw a post on Facebook and the poster was asking if it was o.k for Christians(i.e married christian couples) to watch pornography together. Personally, I felt... it could help to spice things up a bit and bring some excitement into the marriage, because, believe me.......even married couples have dry spells. Sometimes you just don't feel sexy around each other, and of course the economy is not so great for a lot of people, so not every one can afford a romantic getaway every now and then. So porn may be a way to get our engines revving once again.
With the arrival of the internet, you don't have to go to a video shop and act all creepy because you don't want people to know hat you want to buy an x-rated video, then on getting home, you now have to hide the video in some box under the bed where the kids won't see it. Now, with just a few taps on your phone or tablet, you have access to millions of videos, depending on what you want to see. So why not? we can as well watch porn together and get turned on by it.
However, is it right? I had to look through the scriptures and I was taken aback at how erroneous my point of view is. I had to form a new opinion....Now here is my take:
First, most of the time, the people involved in the sexual acts in these videos are not married, so it doesn't actually feel right to me to get myself excited by watching people commit adultery or fornication as the case may be.  The Bible says, "Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge" Hebrews 13:4
So having fornicators and adulterers educate you on what happens on your marriage bed is contradictory.
When you actually, watch some of these porn videos, they are usually quite demeaning and reduce the women to objects of lust, they also make you have certain expectations which your spouse may not be comfortable with. you may also want to explore your fantasies elsewhere if your spouse remains unwilling to reenact whatever you might have watched.
Matthew 5:8 says but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. In other words, watching the videos and getting turned on by them is as bad as committing adultery.
1 Thessalonians asks that Christians should abstain from every form of evil, which includes its appearances, it can take a small flicker to start a raging fire. James 1:14-15 says But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death. That is to say that conceiving the idea of sin in our hearts can lead us to committing the actual sin itself. 1 Peter 2:11 says, Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul.
It may feel like we havent done any wrong, because all we did was see and not touch...but an old adage says that the eyes eat first before the mouth....lets recall what happened to our brother David when he saw Bathsheba bathing..........
It happened, late one afternoon, when David arose from his couch and was walking on the roof of the king's house, that he saw from the roof a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful. And David sent and inquired about the woman. And one said, “Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?” So David sent messengers and took her, and she came to him, and he lay with her. (Now she had been purifying herself from her uncleanness.) Then she returned to her house. And the woman conceived, and she sent and told David, “I am pregnant.” 2 Samuel 11,2-5. So David committed adultery, killed a man and brought destruction on his household, all because of what he saw with his eyes.
So I will just conclude with this, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovelywhatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things and the God of peace will be with you” Phil 4:8.

So what do you think? Is it wrong for christian married couples to watch pornography?

Jesus loves you!!!❤
